SEC Network’s traveling pregame show, SEC Nation, returns to Saturday mornings September 5 at 10 a.m. ET, live from the University of Arkansas. In its first three weeks the show will embed itself in tailgates at Arkansas, Vanderbilt and LSU.
Each week host Joe Tessitore will be joined by analysts Greg McElroy and Marcus Spears, alongside Paul Finebaum and reporter Kaylee Hartung with the morning headlines, matchup previews and a taste of each school’s tailgating scene.
In anticipation of the upcoming season, an SEC Nation Football Preview airs Tuesday, August 18 at 7 p.m. featuring the full commentating team from the Charlotte, N.C. studios. The SEC Nation bus hits the road two weeks later for the opening week of college football.

SEC Nation is kicking off the football season in Fayetteville, Arkansas for the Razorbacks opening game against UTEP. The set returns to Victory Village Saturday, Sept. 5 with a new face at the desk. As announced last week, McElroy joins the show for its sophomore season after providing in-studio analysis for SEC Now, in addition to covering halftimes for every SEC Network football game and recapping the day of Southeastern Conference games every Saturday last year.
The show last visited Fayetteville prior to the October 11, 2014 Alabama matchup, and had a memorable line-up of guests that included Arkansas super-fan and owner of the Dallas Cowboys, Jerry Jones, and head coach Bret Bielema (photos here).
Razorback fans are invited to arrive early to be a part of the second season premiere and spend the morning tailgating on national television. The two-hour show is live at 9 a.m. CT/10 a.m. ET.

SEC Nation spends week two on the Vanderbilt University campus for the first time. Last year the show visited the Commodores for their Ole Miss matchup played at LP Field. The set was tucked in amongst the LP Field parking lot tailgates and Nashville skyline. This year the show will be live from Vanderbilt’s campus with the set at The Commons.
Fans and students are invited to spend the morning of Saturday, Sept. 12 with Tessitore, McElroy, Spears, Finebaum and Hartung for the crew’s first on-campus show.
LSU (ESPN Images)
Week three, SEC Nation heads back to the Bayou to preview the clash of the tigers, with LSU facing Auburn at Tiger Stadium. The show returns to campus on Saturday, Sept. 19, to bring viewers the sights and sound of a Baton Rouge tailgate.
