The ‘Path to Primetime’ leads NFL Network & NFL.com back to New York City with the most innovative and comprehensive coverage ever of the 76th annual NFL Draft from Radio City Music Hall. The three-day showcase, in its second year in primetime, begins Thursday, April 28 at 8:00 PM ET.
With the NFL Draft introducing the league’s next generation of superstars, NFL Network enlists a talented and informative roster of hosts, reporters and analysts to introduce viewers to the NFL’s next generation of talent. For the seventh consecutive year, the on-air lineup is led by draft expert Mike Mayock, who has been called “the best draft analyst in the business” and “the gold standard of the glamour NFL evaluators” by media covering the NFL. In addition, NFL Network enlists the expertise of four top college head coaches as Wisconsin’s Bret Bielema, North Carolina’s Butch Davis, Notre Dame’s Brian Kelly and Alabama’s Nick Saban join the talent depth chart in New York on Saturday.
With more than 38 hours of ‘Draft Week’ coverage kicking off Monday, April 25, including live reports from New York City on NFL Total Access, as well as an array of complementary programming on NFL Network, NFL.com and NFL Mobile, the 2011 NFL Draft is more accessible to viewers and fans than ever before.

NFL Network
- The new 30-minute primetime Mayock’s 2011 Mock Draft special debuts Wednesday, April 27 at 8:00 PM ET on the eve of the NFL Draft. Alongside host Rich Eisen from inside Radio City Music Hall in New York City, NFL Network’s top draft expert, Mike Mayock, reveals his predictions for the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft. NFL.com will also post the picks in its new mock draft section, and Mayock will provide full analysis in the show.
- More than 38 HOURS of live, high-definition “Draft Week” coverage Monday, April 25 – Sunday, May 1, highlighted by all 254 selections of the 2011 NFL Draft Presented by Verizon starting with round 1 Thursday, April 28 at 8:00 PM ET. Rounds 2 and 3 commence Friday, April 29 at 6:00 PM ET, followed by rounds 4-7 Saturday, April 30 at Noon ET.
- Monday, April 25 – Wednesday, April 27, NFL Total Access provides reports from Radio City Music Hall each night at 7:00 PM ET.
- Two-hour editions of Path to the Draft special pre-draft shows Thursday, April 28 & Friday, April 29 starting at 11:00 AM ET both days.
- First round pre-draft coverage features a seven-hour Total Access Pre-Draft Show at 1:00 PM ET with analysis from NFL Network’s Los Angeles studios, Radio City Music Hall and reports from various NFL team headquarters. - The series finale of Game Changers airs Wednesday, April 27 at 9:00 PM ET featuring NFL Network’s resident head coach Steve Mariucci’s 1-on-1 with top wideout draft prospects A.J. Green (Georgia) and Greg Little (North Carolina), gaining insight into their training regime and lives off the field. On the field, Mariucci enlists the help of NFL Network’s Hall of Fame wide receiver Michael Irvin to test the abilities of the aspiring NFL rookies. Prior to Wednesday’s finale, fans can catch up on the entire series with the four episodes focusing on quarterbacks, defensive line, defensive backs and linebackers re-airing Monday, April 25 and Tuesday, April 26 at 8:00 & 9:00 PM ET.
- NFL Network’s No Huddle roundtable series returns draft week with No Huddle: Path to Primetime, featuring NFL Network analysts Torry Holt, Marshall Faulk, Steve Mariucci, Jamie Dukes, Deion Sanders, Warren Sapp and Kurt Warner who debate and discuss the top draft prospects at each position and the teams where they may land. The first four installments of No Huddle air Monday, April 25 and Tuesday, April 26 at 8:30 & 9:30 PM ET with the final episode debuting Wednesday, April 27 at 9:30 PM ET.
