Final Two AVP Pro Events Wrap-up 2021 Season with Manhattan Beach Open (Aug. 20-22) and Chicago Open (Sept. 3-5)
All Matches Live on Peacock, NBCSN to Present Highlight Show of Each Event
STAMFORD, Conn. – July 9, 2021 – Beach volleyball’s best debut on Peacock this summer as the AVP returns to NBC Sports with live coverage of their 2021 season, beginning in Atlanta from August 13-15. Feature matches from all three tournaments will be presented live on Peacock, with NBCSN televising highlight shows in the days following each tournament’s conclusion. This summer’s AVP tournaments across Peacock and NBC Sports include stops in Manhattan Beach, Calif. from August 20-22 and Chicago, Ill. from September 3-5. The AVP Tournaments are the latest addition to Peacock’s expansive sports programming with upcoming live sports coverage on the service including the Tour de France, Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, Premier Lacrosse League, INDYCAR,
The AVP Pro tour features beach volleyball’s top players, including the top two Olympic ranked women’s teams — Americans April Ross and Alix Klineman and Canadians Sarah Pavan and Melissa Humana-Paredes, as well as first-time, and youngest USA beach Olympians, Kelly Claes and Sarah Sponcil. The men’s side is expected to be highlighted by four-time Olympian Jake Gibb and his partner Taylor Crabb, as well as four-time Olympian and gold medalist Phil Dalhausser and Nick Lucena.
