Paul Simon, Dick Enberg and Jim Lehrer to be Honored at WFUV Gala May 6
NEW YORK, April 27 — WFUV-FM 90.7 will honor three legends at its Spring Gala on May 6 at the Puck Building: Music icon Paul Simon, who will receive the Sound & Vision Award; CBS Sports’ Dick Enberg, who will receive the Vin Scully Lifetime Achievement Award, and newsman Jim Lehrer, who will receive the Charles Osgood Lifetime Achievement Award.
Simon will perform for the gues ts at the Gala, at which an array of news, entertainment and sports celebrities will join hundreds of supporters of WFUV-FM, the public radio station licensed to Fordham University.
The honorees will be available to the media in the Puck Skylight Ballroom before the dinner and program. Media are not permitted to record or photograph Simon’s performance.
