The Rich Eisen Hall of Fame Special – Wednesday at 10:00 PM ET
Wednesday at 10:00 PM ET, The Rich Eisen Hall of Fame Special airs from the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.
Rich Eisen sits down with Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly. While Kelly is known for his successful battles on the field, his most current battle has given the Buffalo Bill great a new life perspective. Kelly opens up about his diagnosis with jaw cancer, the subsequent treatment and how he is moving forward.
Kelly also talks about the current quarterback battle going on in Buffalo between E.J. Manuel and Kevin Kolb and the overall state of the franchise. Additionally, hear Kelly’s thoughts on his former teammate Andre Reed and Reed’s chances of getting into the Hall of Fame.
Eisen then talks with Hall of Fame defensive end Howie Long. What is the annual trip back to the Canton, Ohio like and what does it mean to him? Long discusses the emotional weekend.
Long also faces an interesting Week 12 of the NFL season when the Chicago Bears take on the St. Louis Rams. Not only are his sons on opposing teams, but the possibility exists that Rams defensive end Chris Long lines up against Bears offensive lineman Kyle Long. The proud father talks about the chance-encounter.
The Rich Eisen Hall of Fame Special takes a behind the scenes tour of the Pro Football Hall of Fame as it celebrates its 50th anniversary. See some of the NFL’s most unique archives including Hall of Fame running back Jim Brown’s shoulder pads, the story behind a 1975 written letter from Elvis Presley to Commissioner Pete Rozelle, and much more.
