The third season of the two-time Emmy-nominated series A Football Life continues Tuesday, October 29 at 9:00 PM ET with Warren Sapp: A Football Life, a one-hour documentary which offers a look at the life of one of the most dominant defensive players in NFL history. Warren Sapp: A Football Life features sitdown interviews, as well as Sapp and his mother, Annie Roberts, returning to his hometown of Plymouth, Florida to visit his childhood home, his high school and various places in Plymouth that played significant parts in his life.
Following the episode, A Football Life: Backstory airs at 10:00 PM ET, a 30-minute show that provides a deeper look into the lives and story of each subject, features interviews with relevant individuals, and includes material that did not make the final edition of the episode. This week, Jenn Brown hosts and is joined in-studio by NFL Network analyst/reporter Steve Wyche, who used to cover Sapp. Additionally, Sapp and former teammate Derrick Brooks reminisce about their playing days together, while former Buccaneers quarterback Brad Johnson and safety John Lynch joins the show to provide his experiences from playing with Sapp. Additionally, former University of Miami football head coach Dennis Erickson joins the show to talk about coaching Sapp in college.
