Jones-Drew & Taylor Join As Analysts for NFL Now & NFL Network
Chadiha to Report, Write & Contribute on a Variety of NFL Media Shows & Platforms
Former All-Pro running back Maurice Jones-Drew, two-time Super Bowl champion Ike Taylor and veteran NFL reporter Jeffri Chadiha have joined NFL Media, it was announced today.
Jones-Drew (@Jones_Drew32) will serve as an analyst for NFL Media, appearing primarily on NFL Now as well as NFL Network shows such as NFL Fantasy Live and The Top 100 Players. A second-round pick out of UCLA in 2006, Jones-Drew retired in March of 2015 after nine seasons in the NFL in which he amassed 8,167 rushing yards and 81 total touchdowns in his career. A three-time Pro Bowl selection, Jones-Drew spent eight seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars and holds the franchise record for single-season rushing yards (1,606 in 2011) and total touchdowns. Jones-Drew spent the 2014 season with the Oakland Raiders.
Taylor (@Ike_SwagginU) will serve as an analyst for NFL Media, appearing primarily on NFL Now as well as NFL Network shows such as NFL Fantasy Live and The Top 100 Players. Taylor joins NFL Media after 12 seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers. A fourth-round pick of the Steelers in 2003, Taylor appeared in 174 regular season games (14 playoff games) for the Steelers and totaled 17 career interceptions. An instrumental part of the Steelers’ victories in Super Bowl XL and Super Bowl XLIII, Taylor retired in April of 2015.
Chadiha (@JeffriChadiha) joins NFL Media, where he will report, write and contribute on a variety of NFL Media shows and platforms. Chadiha comes to NFL Media from ESPN, where he covered the NFL for ESPN’s E:60, ESPN.com and ESPN the Magazine, and appeared on various ESPN programs such as SportsCenter, First Take, Numbers Never Lie and Sports Reporters. Prior to joining ESPN in 2007, Chadiha served as a senior writer for Sports Illustrated where he worked for seven years. Overall, Chadiha has covered the NFL for 16 years and won considerable recognition for his work, including a Sports Emmy Award in 2009. His first book, “Going Deep: How Wide Receivers Became the Most Compelling Figures in Pro Sports,” was written with Pro Football Hall of Fame wide receiver Cris Carter and was published in 2013.
