NEW YORK (September 22, 2011) – The NBC Sports Group continues its college football coverage this weekend on VERSUS with a triple-header featuring four undefeated teams and the Atlanta Football Classic on Saturday, September 24. The triple-header is highlighted by the highly-anticipated game between the Wyoming Cowboys (3-0) and #9 Nebraska Cornhuskers (3-0) in Laramie, Wyoming, at 7:30 p.m. ET. The coverage kicks off at 12 p.m. ET when the Cornell Big Red (1-0) travel to New Haven to face the Yale Bulldogs (1-0) at 12 p.m. ET and is followed by the Atlanta Football Classic between Florida A&M and Southern University, live from the Georgia Dome at 3:30 p.m. ET.
COMMENTATORS –Paul Burmeister will helm VERSUS’ Mountain West Conference coverage and will be joined by Shaun King as analyst and former NFL defensive end Anthony Herron as sideline analyst. Randy Moss, a member of NBC’s award-winning horse racing team and contributor to NFL Network, will serve as the play-by-play announcer for VERSUS’ Ivy League coverage and will be joined in the booth by Ross Tucker as lead analyst. Former NFL linebacker Akbar Gbaja-Biamila will serve as the in-game reporter. VERSUS will have an analyst reporting from the sidelines for all college football games to provide first-person analysis from the field and interact with the booth commentators. James Verrett (play-by-play) and Doug Chapman (analyst) will call Florida A&M-Southern with Rashan Ali reporting from the sidelines.

WILLIAMS ON CORNELL: “Cornell’s second year head coach Kent Austin will rely heavily on their sophomore QB Jeff Mathews, 2010 Ivy League rookie of the year, as they play their conference rival Yale.”
