NBA Inside Stuff presented by Samsung Galaxy will return Saturday, Nov. 16, on NBA TV at noon ET with a new episode co-hosted by Grant Hill and Kristen Ledlow. This week, Detroit Pistons’ forward Josh Smith – signed as a free agent during the offseason – gets a personal introduction to the Motor City from one of Detroit’s favorite sons, NBA TV analyst Steve Smith. The two former Atlanta Hawks visit the heart of the city and talk about, among other things, Josh’s transition to the Pistons following nine seasons with the Hawks.
Golden State Warriors’ guard Stephen Curry capitalized on being injury-free last season by producing a record-breaking campaign. The show received an inside look on his offseason strength and conditioning program, which has already helped him bounce back from injury this season.
The show also features a “Quick Take” with Cleveland Cavaliers’ guard Kyrie Irving highlighting his game, along with his personality, dancing ability and style.
This offseason, the New Orleans Hornets transformed into the Pelicans. NBA TV analyst Brent Barry visits the Audubon Zoo in New Orleans to get to the bottom of why Louisiana’s state bird – the pelican – is so distinct.
Additionally, reigning Kia NBA Rookie of the Year Damian Lillard of the Portland Trailblazers shares an exclusive digital “4 Bar Fridays” rap with Hill and Ledlow.
Tristan “Mack” Wilds’ first single, “Own it,” from his debut album New York: A Love Story, will be featured in this week’s Jam Session. Wilds, also known for his acting roles as Michael Lee on HBO’s The Wire and Dixon Wilson on the CW’s 90210, worked with Grammy nominated music producer Salaam Remi in 2012 to record his 1990s hip-hop centered, R&B-laced album. Jam Session and Rewind are two of the show’s most celebrated segments highlighting the top plays in the NBA each week.
NBA Inside Stuff presented by Samsung Galaxy, televised each Saturday at noon throughout the season, will also include several special editions airing at select times during the year.
