Multi-Platform Coverage Begins Tuesday with UFC TONIGHT Preview

New York, NY – Following UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson’s third successful title defense on FOX in April, FOX UFC SATURDAY returns to the Key Arena in Seattle with a title bout featuring UFC flyweight champion Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson (17-2-1) against No. 1 contender John Moraga (13-1-0).  Johnson’s first title defense took place during the network’s UFC card this past January, where he beat John Dodson in a five-round unanimous decision. The Johnson vs. Moraga main event is preceded by three thrilling matchups airing LIVE in primetime Saturday, July 27 (8:00 PM ET) on FOX.

FOX Sports, FUEL TV, FOX Deportes, FOXSports.com and FOX Sports Radio get fans primed for an outstanding quadruple header of fights on the broadcast network and three hours of preliminary bouts airing on FX.

Prior to the title fight, FOX Sports features Canadian phenom Rory MacDonald (14-1-0) against knockout artist Jake Ellenberger (29-6-0) in a clash of welterweight contenders, and “Ruthless” Robbie Lawler (20-9-0, 1NC) battles Bobby Voelker (24-9-0) in another 170-pound matchup. Plus, U.S. Marine Corps veteran Liz Carmouche (7-3-0) tackles talented newcomer Jessica Andrade (9-2-0).

UFC announcers Mike Goldberg and Joe Rogan call all bouts on FOX Sports including preliminary matches airing live on FX beginning at 5:00 PM ET.  Host Jon Anik, Chael Sonnen and Brian Stann offer analysis for preliminary bouts on FX, with host Curt Menefee, Stann and Sonnen handling analysis for fights on FOX Sports. Both shows originate LIVE on-site from the KeyArena. Additionally, both the preliminary bouts and the main card fights air live on FSMG’s Spanish language network FOX Deportes. UFC announcer Larry Pepe hosts all matches for FOX Sports Radio.

Coverage of FOX UFC SATURDAY begins Tuesday, July 23 (10:00 PM ET) when FUEL TV airs UFC TONIGHT (10:00 PM ET), the official news and information show of the UFC, with hosts Kenny Florian and Chael Sonnen breaking down FOX UFC Saturday’s biggest fights. The evening caps off with UFC ULTIMATE INSIDER (10:30 PM ET), a 30-minute program going behind-the-scenes to deliver an insightful preview into the World Flyweight Championship fight between Johnson and Moraga, with segments on Moraga, Ellenberger, Carmouche and Andrade.

On Friday, July 26 (7:00 PM ET) FUEL TV carries the weigh-in LIVE from the Seattle. The program is hosted on-site by Anik, with Sonnen and Stann adding analysis. Three-time MMA Journalist of the Year Ariel Helwani interviews fighters backstage.

Immediately following FOX UFC SATURDAY, the UFC Postfight show airs on FUEL TV featuring host Anik and analysts Sonnen and Stann breaking down the biggest and best moments of the evening, with Helwani providing interviews backstage live from the KeyArena.
