More Than 150 Hours of Live Postseason Coverage Featured Across All MLB Network Studio Programming
Secaucus, N.J., October 5, 2011 – Pittsburgh Pirates closer Joel Hanrahan and San Diego Padres manager Bud Black will serve as guest studio analysts on MLB Tonight next week, part of MLB Network’s extensive coverage of the 2011 Major League Baseball Postseason, including more than 150 live hours of studio programming.
2011 All-Star Hanrahan will join MLB Network in-studio on October 10 and 11, after a season where he finished with a 1.83 ERA and 40 saves, ranking him sixth in the category in the N.L. Black, the 2010 N.L. Manager of the Year and pitching coach for the 2002 World Series champion Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, will join MLB Network in-studio on October 12 and 13. Hanrahan and Black follow Oakland Athletics pitcher Dallas Braden and San Francisco Giants infielder Mark DeRosa as MLB Network guest analysts this month.
MLB Network’s MLB Tonight will air live before and after every Postseason game, with previews, highlights, interviews and analysis, and reporters on-site at each ballpark throughout the Postseason.
