Episode 2 Quotes:
(On whether Danica Patrick can live up to the hype)
Daugherty: “No, she can’t live up to the hype. The expectations are just monumental for her. She would have to win multiple races, and be in contention every week, and I just don’t think she’s capable of that right now.”
(On Danica Patrick’s driving style)
Pemberton: “I think there’s a physical part, she’s 100 lbs, maybe 105 at the most. What I didn’t like seeing down there, looking at the car, I think they’ve got her sitting too far away from the wheel.”
(On the Red Flag Delays at the Daytona 500)
Waltrip: “I think it swung the momentum over to guys that had raced in that shootout the Saturday night before. They raced in the dark; they knew what their cars would have. Teams were planning on starting in the sunshine, and finishing in the sunshine, and that didn’t happen.”
