NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports App to Provide Streaming Coverage of Kansas City Auction This Weekend
STAMFORD, Conn. – Dec. 5, 2019 – In NBC Sports’ final Mecum Auction event in 2019, a 2006 Ford GT Heritage Edition, one of only 343 produced worldwide, will highlight over 700 vehicles that will cross the auction block this weekend in Kansas City, Mo., as NBC Sports presents nearly 15 hours of comprehensive coverage of Mecum Auctions: Kansas City, beginning today at 5:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN.
Other top-line vehicles expected to cross the auction block at the Kansas City Convention Center this weekend on NBCSN include a 1964 Chevrolet Corvette Fuelie Coupe and a 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Twister Special Fastback, one of only 48 of its kind produced.
Coverage on NBCSN continues on Friday with 4.5 hours of coverage starting at 2:30 p.m. ET, followed by a four-hour window on Saturday at 3 p.m. ET. NBC Sports’ culminating Mecum Auctions coverage of the year will be four hours from the auction block beginning at 8 p.m. ET on Sunday on NBCSN.
Scott Hoke will host coverage on-site in Kansas City, alongside analysts John Kraman and Stephen Cox, and reporters Bill Stephens and Katie Osborne.
