ESPNU & Disney XD to Air Super Smash Bros. for Wii U from Evolution Championship Series Final July 16

ESPNU and Disney XD will simulcast the Super Smash Bros. for Wii U Final live from the Evolution Championship Series (Evo 2017) from Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas beginning at 6 p.m. ET on Sunday, July 16. In addition to this event being the first time ESPN has aired a live Nintendo game tournament on its platforms, this will also mark the first time Disney XD has ever aired live programming on its network. The esports action will continue later on ESPN2, as the network will televise the Street Fighter® V World Championship Final on July 16 at 10 p.m., as previously announced.
