Curt Schilling to Resume Sunday Night Baseball Role This Weekend for Yankees-Orioles
Three-time World Series Champion Curt Schilling, who resumed his ESPN MLB analyst role Thursday on Baseball Tonight, will make his official Sunday Night Baseball debut with Dan Shulman, John Kruk and reporter Buster Olney on Sunday, September 14, when the New York Yankees visit the first-place Baltimore Orioles. The telecast will begin at 8 p.m. ET and will be available on ESPN and WatchESPN.
ESPN announced Schilling was joining the Sunday Night Baseball booth last December. In February, Schilling announced he had been diagnosed with cancer.
Schilling will resume his analyst role in time to call what is expected to be Derek Jeter’s final Sunday Night Baseball appearance. It will mark Jeter’s 71st career appearance on “baseball’s biggest stage,” more than any other player.
Sunday Night Baseball presented by Taco Bell is also available on ESPN Radio, ESPN Deportes and ESPN Deportes Radio.
