One thing we learned when Terry Francona was an ESPN analyst — he likes to joke around with colleagues, players and just about anyone.
With that in mind, the first-year Cleveland Indians manager found himself back in ESPN’s Bristol, Conn. headquarters recently to promote his new book Francona: The Red Sox Years, that he wrote with Boston Globe columnist Dan Shaughnessy.
While on campus, “Tito” couldn’t pass up the chance to give his Sunday Night Baseball successor John Kruk a few light-hearted tips for his first year in the booth.
