ESPN Film’s latest documentary series The Captain will debut July 18 following the MLB All Star Home Run Derby. Directed by Emmy-winner Randy Wilkins (“86-32,” “Docket 32357,” “Dear…”), the seven episode series provides an extraordinary portrait of the Yankee captain’s life and career on and off the baseball field. Episode one of the series will premiere simultaneously on ESPN & ESPN+ July 18 at 10 p.m. ET, following the MLB All Star Home Run Derby.
