Games to be shown across ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and ESPN3
The brackets have been set for ESPN Events’ early-season basketball tournaments beginning in November and running through the Christmas holiday. The five multi-day, destination events consisting of the Gildan Charleston Classic, Puerto Rico Tip-Off, Wooden Legacy, AdvoCare Invitational and the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic will be shown across ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and ESPN3.
Each tournament will also be available through WatchESPN, accessible online at WatchESPN.com, on smartphones and tablets via the WatchESPN app, and streamed on televisions through Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick, Apple TV, Chromecast, Roku, Xbox 360 or Xbox One to fans who receive their video subscription from an affiliated provider.
The eight-team bracket-format tournaments – Gildan Charleston Classic, Puerto Rico Tip-Off, Wooden Legacy, AdvoCare Invitational and the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic – feature 12 games over three days. The teams compete once per day, advancing with a victory. The two teams that remain undefeated will face off in a championship game.
Gildan Charleston Classic – Nov. 19, 20 & 22
The Gildan Charleston Classic, held at TD Arena in Charleston, S.C., will include Bradley, George Mason, Long Beach State, Mississippi, Oklahoma State, Seton Hall, Towson and Virginia. Additional information, including travel packages, can be found on the Gildan Charleston Classic website.

The first two days will be held on the campus of Cal-State Fullerton and the final day of competition will be at Honda Center in Anaheim. Additional ESPN Events early-season games
The fourth installment of the Armed Forces Classic will take place from the Marine Corps Base Camp Smedley D. Butler in Okinawa, Japan, on Friday, Nov. 13, and will feature Gonzaga vs. Pittsburgh, marking the first meeting between the two nationally-recognized programs. The game will be shown on ESPN.
In its fifth year, the State Farm Champions Classic – a neutral-site, early-season doubleheader that matches four of the winningest programs against each other – will pit Kansas vs. Michigan State and Kentucky vs. Duke from the United Center in Chicago on Tuesday, Nov. 17. This is the culminating event of the College Hoops Tip-Off Marathon, and both games will air on ESPN.
The Jimmy V Women’s Classic Presented by Corona will feature defending national champion Connecticut hosting Final Four participant Notre Dame in the 14th annual event on Saturday, Dec. 5. The game will air on ESPN at a time to be determined.
Four storied college basketball programs headline the 2015 Jimmy V Men’s Basketball Classic Presented by Corona doubleheader on Tuesday, Dec. 8, with proceeds benefiting The V Foundation for Cancer Research. UConn will face Maryland, while Virginia takes on West Virginia in the 21st annual event to air on ESPN from New York City’s famed Madison Square Garden.
