David Faitelson claims network’s second win for Outstanding On-Air Talent in Spanish
SportsCenter is recognized for the second time in the Best Studio Show category

On a night that recognizes the best in sports media, ESPN Deportes claimed two Sports Emmy Awards, presented for the 37th year by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences last night in New York. ESPN Deportes’ SportsCenter won, for the second time, in the Best Studio Show category. David Faitelson took the Emmy for Outstanding On-Air Personality in Spanish, joining colleague Ernesto Jerez who won the category last year.
ESPN Deportes had five nominations this year, including three in the Outstanding Studio Show in Spanish category – SportsCenter, Nación ESPN and Béisbol Esta Noche – and two in the Outstanding On-Air Talent in Spanish category – Faitelson and Jerez. This is the third consecutive year ESPN Deportes is recognized at the event. The network has now five Sports Emmy Awards.
In total, ESPN took home nine awards including E:60 winning Outstanding Long Feature and Outstanding Sports News Anthology – the show’s 10th and 11th all-time Emmys; 30 for 30: Of Miracles and Men receiving Outstanding Long Sports Documentary – the third year straight ESPN Films has been recognized; and College GameDay winning Outstanding Studio Show. ESPN has now 180 Sports Emmy Awards in 29 years of eligibility.

David Faitelson gana como Presentador Deportivo Sobresaliente en Español
SportsCenter es reconocido por segunda vez en la categoría de Show de Estudio Sobresaliente
En una noche en la que se reconoce a lo mejor de los medios deportivos, ESPN Deportes obtuvo dos Premios Emmy de Deportes, presentados en su 37° edición por la Academia Nacional de las Artes y las Ciencias de Televisión anoche en Nueva York. El programa de ESPN Deportes SportsCenter ganó, por segunda vez, en la categoría de Show de Estudio Sobresaliente. David Faitelson se llevó el Emmy como Presentador Deportivo Sobresaliente en Español, sumándose a su colega Ernesto Jerez quien ganó el premio en esta categoría el año pasado.
ESPN Deportes consiguió cinco nominaciones este año, incluyendo tres en la categoría de Show de Estudio en Español: SportsCenter, Nación ESPN y Béisbol Esta Noche; y dos en la de Presentador Deportivo Sobresaliente en Español: Faitelson y Jerez. Este es el tercer año consecutivo en el que ESPN Deportes es reconocido en el evento. La cadena ahora ostenta cinco Premios Emmy de Deportes.
En total, ESPN se llevó nueve premios, incluyendo los de Largometraje Sobresaliente y Antología Noticiosa Deportiva Sobresaliente para E:60, los décimo y onceavo premios Emmy para el show; Documental Sobresaliente para 30 for 30: Of Miracles and Men, el tercer reconocimiento en años consecutivos para ESPN Films; y Show de Estudio Sobresaliente para College GameDay.
