Joe Tessitore, Todd McShay and Bill Polian to call Collegiate All-Star Game, Jan. 19 on ESPN2
ESPN play-by-play voice Joe Tessitore, analysts Todd McShay and Bill Polian, and reporter Quint Kessenich will serve as the commentator team for the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl Presented by Winnol on Saturday, Jan. 19, at 6 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
The college all-star game – which is open to seniors who are eligible for the 2013 NFL Draft – will be played at The Home Depot Center on the campus of California State University Dominguez Hills in Carson, Calif.
Tessitore is a fixture on ESPN’s college football coverage, both calling games and in-studio as a host of College Football Live. He will be joined in the booth by college football analyst McShay, who has 15 years’ experience evaluating NFL Draft prospects, and NFL analyst Polian, a six-time NFL Executive of the Year who helped build multiple franchises during his 24 years as a general manager. Kessenich, a longtime college sports reporter, will cover the sidelines.
In addition to the game, ESPNU will televise a pair of two-hour NFLPA Collegiate Bowl practices on Thursday, Jan. 17, beginning at 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. ESPNU’s Dari Nowkhah will host coverage of the practices along with McShay, Polian and college football analyst Robert Smith, while Kessenich will serve as on-site reporter.
The game and practices will also be available on WatchESPN for fans who have video subscriptions from an affiliated provider. Additionally, NFLPA Collegiate Bowl Twitter and Facebook pages will have player confirmations and news surrounding the game. The schedule:
