Show Visiting One of 10 Big 12/SEC Challenge Matchups on January 30
ESPN College GameDay Covered by State Farm will be on hand for No. 3 Kansas vs. No. 23 Kentucky, as part of the third annual Big 12/SEC Challenge Presented by Sonic – staged for the first time on a common-bye date of Saturday, Jan. 30. The Saturday Primetime presented by DIRECTV matchup will air at 7 p.m. ET from Lawrence, Kan., with the morning show beginning at 11 a.m. and the evening edition beginning at 4 p.m. – all on ESPN.
ESPN College GameDay Covered by State Farm is hosted by Rece Davis, who is joined by analysts Jay Bilas, Seth Greenberg and Jay Williams. Dan Shulman, Bilas and reporter Shannon Spake will have the call of the Kansas-Kentucky game.
GameDay will originate from Lawrence for the seventh time, including part of a split show with Wichita State on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015. The weekly-traveling telecast also visited Lawrence in 2005, 2007, 2008, 2011 and 2013. Kentucky will be appearing on the road at the site of GameDay for the sixth time.
For the second straight season, the College GameDay site will be announced one-week prior to the show, ensuring visits to sites of top storylines and games appearing on ESPN networks each week.
Time for the previously announced Big 12/SEC Challenge netflex matchups are as followed: No. 6 West Virginia at Florida (ESPN, noon), No. 19 Iowa State at No. 10 Texas A&M (ESPN, 2 p.m.) and No. 1 Oklahoma at LSU (ESPN, 5 p.m.).
