Second Straight Year College GameDay Visits Baylor

After making its first-ever trip to Waco in 2014, ESPN College GameDay Built by The Home Depot – college football’s longest running and most celebrated pregame show – will be live from the banks of the Brazos River and Baylor University for the second straight year on Saturday, Nov. 14. The Emmy Award-winning show – 9 a.m.-noon on ESPN – will discuss theSaturday Night Football on ABC presented by Wells Fargo tilt featuring No. 12 Oklahoma at No. 4 Baylor at 8 p.m., as well as the rest of college football.
Host Rece Davis – in his first season at the College GameDay desk – is joined by analysts Kirk Herbstreit, Lee Corso, Desmond Howard and David Pollack, as well as contributors Samantha Ponder, Tom Rinaldi, George Whitfield and Gene Wojciechowski. Herbstreit will be on the call of the game with Chris Fowler and reporter Heather Cox.
College Football Live will originate from the College GameDay set Friday, Nov. 13, at 2 p.m. on ESPN with Ponder, Howard and Pollack at the desk.

ABC Saturday Night Football to Exclusively Debut Live Video for “Night’s on Fire” Nov. 14

As part of ESPN’s season-long relationship with Interscope/Universal Music Group Nashville’s artists, this weekend’s ABC Saturday Night Football broadcast featuring No. 12 Oklahoma at No. 6 Baylor (8 p.m. ET) will air the exclusive debut of the live video accompanying the single “Night’s on Fire.” The song is from GRAMMY®-nominated, platinum-selling recording artist David Nail’s new album Fighter. Already, Nail’s “Good at Tonight” has been used in ESPN’s college football coverage throughout the 2015 season.
Clips from the live video will accompany bumps at the end of the game’s first and third quarters with an extended clip played during halftime. The song will also be featured during Sunday’s “Plays of the Week” segment on SportsCenter and be used the rest of the college football season on ABC/ESPN games.

No. 16 Florida State at No. 1 Clemson averaged 7,563,000 viewers, ABC’s most-watched 3:30 p.m. ET game in nearly three years (Florida at Florida State on Nov. 24, 2012) and up 71% from last year’s week 10 late afternoon game (regional action: Purdue at Nebraska or TCU at West Virginia). On WatchESPN, with 105,000 average minute impressions in addition to the TV audience totaling 22,200,000 minutes viewed, the ACC showdown was the most-streamed game of the week and ranks as the sixth-most-streamed regular season college football game ever for both metrics.
College GameDay Reaches Record Audience
ESPN College GameDay Built by The Home Depot, live from Tuscaloosa in advance of then-No. 2 LSU at No. 4 Alabama, averaged 2,233,000 viewers, the most-watched regular season College GameDay since the show expanded to three hours in 2013 (41 episodes*). In this span, three of the five most watched episodes have occurred this season.
