Washington will look for its first-ever playoff sweep in a best-of-seven series tonight with a Game 4 win in Philadelphia. The Caps won Game 3 by a score of 6-1 on Monday with six unanswered goals, including five goals on the power play. In the series, the Caps have gone 8-for-17 on the power play, while their penalty kill has gone a perfect 13-for-13. Alex Ovechkin scored two goals and added an assist in Game 3 to give him 74 career playoff points, passing former Caps forward Dale Hunter for most in franchise history.

The Panthers and Islanders clash in Game 4 tonight on USA Network as Florida looks to bounce back and even the series at two games apiece. New York won the first-ever Stanley Cup Playoff game to be played in Brooklyn in dramatic fashion on Sunday night, as the Isles erased deficits of 2-0 and 3-1, and Thomas Hickey scored the game-winning goal with 12:31 into overtime to give the Isles a 4-3 win. Isles captain John Tavares recorded two assists in the win, and has 17 points (7g/10a) in 16 career playoff games. Panthers forward Jaromir Jagr has been held without a goal in his last 34 playoff games.
GAME 4 – (1) STARS AT (WC2) WILD – 9:30 P.M. ET ON NBCSN – STARS LEAD 2-1
The Wild will look for their second consecutive win on home ice to knot their series with Dallas at two, following a 5-3 win in Game 3 on Monday. The Wild overcame a pair of early goals from Stars forward Patrick Sharp, as Jason Pominville scored twice and added an assist to help Minnesota snap a seven-game losing streak, dating back to the regular season. Sharp had seven of Dallas’ 17 shots on goal (tied a season low) in the loss.
GAME 4 – (2) LOS ANGELES AT (3) SAN JOSE – 10:30 P.M. ET ON USA NETWORK – SHARKS LEAD 2-1
The Kings got a much-needed win in Game 3, as Tanner Pearson scored 3:47 into overtime to give Los Angeles a 2-1 win and avoid a 3-0 series deficit. Jonathan Quick made 29 saves for his first win against the Sharks in six tries this season.
