STAMFORD, Conn. – May 5, 2015 – NBC Sports Group continues its comprehensive NHL Stanley Cup Playoff coverage tonight with a pair of Western Conference Game 3 matchups, beginning at 8 p.m. ET on NBCSN, when Zach Parise and the (4) Minnesota Wild host Jonathan Toews and the (3) Chicago Blackhawks.
Game 3 action continues at 9:30 p.m. ET on USA Network, when Johnny Gaudreau and the (3) Calgary Flames host Corey Perry and the (1) Anaheim Ducks.
Pre-game coverage begins on NBCSN at 7 p.m. ET with NHL Live, hosted by Liam McHugh, with analysts and former players Mike Milbury and Jeremy Roenick. Kathryn Tappen will host USA Network’s studio coverage, alongside analyst and former players Anson Carter and Brian Boucher.
BLACKHAWKS-WILD GAME 2 IS NBCSN’S MOST-WATCHED GAME OF POSTSEASON; RANGERS-CAPITALS GAME 3 TELECAST DELIVERS RATINGS MILESTONE IN NEW YORK
Sunday night’s Game 2 Wild-Blackhawks telecast (8:47-11:20 p.m. ET) on NBCSN, in which Chicago defeated Minnesota 4-1, averaged 2.045 million viewers, making it NBCSN’s most-watched game of the 2015 Stanley Cup Playoffs, and the most-watched non-elimination second-round game on NBCSN on record.
In addition, last night’s Rangers-Capitals Game 3 matchup on NBCSN (7:32-10:11 p.m. ET), in which Washington defeat New York 1-0, delivered a 4.9 rating in New York, making it the second highest-rated Round 2 Rangers game on NBCSN ever in the New York market, trailing only last year’s Game 7 contest against Pittsburgh (5.8).

The Minnesota Wild host the Chicago Blackhawks in Game 3 of their second-round series tonight at 8 p.m. ET on NBCSN, as the Wild look for a win at home to cut into its 2-0 series deficit. Chicago built its lead with a 4-1 win in Game 2 on Sunday night, as Patrick Kane scored twice in the victory. In their last matchup in Minnesota on Feb. 3, goaltender Devan Dubnyk made 24 saves and captain Mikko Koivu added a goal and an assist in a 3-0 win for the Wild.
Emmy Award-winning play-by-play commentator and Sports Illustrated 2014 Media Person of the Year Mike ‘Doc’ Emrick, U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame member Eddie Olczyk, and Emmy Award-winning Inside-the-Glass analyst Pierre McGuire will have the call from Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn.

The Anaheim Ducks look to continue their impressive start to the Stanley Cup Playoffs tonight in Calgary, when they face the Flames in Game 3 at 9:30 p.m. ET on USA Network. The Ducks are a perfect 6-0 to start the playoffs, including a pair of wins in Games 1 and 2 over the Flames in Anaheim to begin their second-round series. In Game 2, goaltender Fredrik Andersen made 30 saves in a 3-0 shutout win, while forward Corey Perry added two assists to give him a league-leading 13 points (5g/8a) through just six games in the postseason.
Dave Strader (play-by-play) and Brian Engblom (Inside-the-Glass analyst) will call the action from the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alta.
