Coverage of the Second Round of the NBA Playoffs on TNT and NBA TV Continues
New Orleans Hornets All-Star Chris Paul Visits the NBA on TNT Studio on Monday, May 3
TNT’s coverage of the second round of the NBA Playoffs continues Monday, May 3 at 8 p.m. (ET) with an exclusive doubleheader and a studio visit from New Orleans Hornets point guard Chris Paul. The first game will feature LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers hosting Rajon Rondo and the Boston Celtics in Game #2 of their best-of-seven second round series. Marv Albert (play-by-play), Reggie Miller (analyst) and David Aldridge (reporter) will call the game. At 10:30 p.m. (ET), Tim Duncan and the San Antonio Spurs will take on Steve Nash and the Phoenix Suns in Game #1 of their series. Kevin Harlan (play-by-play) will call the action courtside alongside Doug Collins (analyst) with Marty Snider reporting. The night will conclude with the Emmy® award-winning studio show Inside the NBA with Ernie Johnson (host), Charles Barkley (analyst) and Kenny Smith (analyst).
The NBA action continues on Tuesday, May 4 with TNT airing another exclusive Playoff doubleheader with Dwight Howard and the Orlando Magic hosting either the Atlanta Hawks or Milwaukee Bucks at 8 p.m. (ET) in Game #1 of their best-of-seven series. Matt Devlin (play-by-play), Kevin McHale (analyst) and Cheryl Miller (reporter) will call the game. The second game of the doubleheader will see Deron Williams and the Utah Jazz visiting Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers at 10:30 p.m. (ET) for Game #2 of the series. Sitting courtside will be Dick Stockton (play-by-play), Mike Fratello (analyst) and Craig Sager (reporter). To finish the evening’s coverage, Johnson, Barkley and Smith will break down the action on Inside the NBA.
NBA TV will also continue to provide extensive coverage of the Playoffs beginning Monday, May 3 with host Rick Kamla and analysts Dennis Scott and Eric Snow recapping the night’s action beginning at 10:30 p.m. (ET). The network will continue to air highlights, updates and live press conferences throughout the duration of the NBA Playoffs.
