Women’s Golf takes center stage the next month on Golf Channel and NBC, kicking off with the UL International Crown biennial global match play competition (Thursday-Sunday, July 21-24) followed by NBC Sports Group’s inaugural coverage of the RICOH Women’s British Open (Thursday-Sunday, July 28-31), the women’s third major of 2016. Two weeks later, Thursday-Sunday, Aug. 17-20, Golf Channel will air live coverage of the women’s golf competition in Rio as the sport makes its return to the Olympic Games for the first time in more than a century.
Hall of Famer Judy Rankin, 2004 Women’s British Open Champion Karen Stupples and Golf Channel analyst Jerry Foltz will participate in a media conference call to preview these events. Rankin will serve as analyst for Golf Channel and NBC’s live tournament coverage for the UL International Crown and RICOH Women’s British Open. Stupples and Foltz will be working as on-course reporters.
