BURLINGTON, MA, September 3, 2014 – The NFL season is upon us and Comcast SportsNet will bring viewers more New England Patriots coverage than ever before with 10 weekly Patriots shows, including an all new Monday night offering. Monday Night Patriots — a new 30-minute program hosted by Dan Koppen and Mike Giardi — will debut on Monday, September 8th at 7PM and will provide viewers with highlights and telestrator breakdowns of the prior day’s Pats game each week. The show will be followed by the returning signature football program Quick Slants which will now air at 7:30PM on Mondays throughout the season.
In addition to the new Monday night line-up, Comcast SportsNet will bring viewers a robust offering of Pats coverage with additional shows throughout the week, including: Football Day in New England (featuring Pregame Live and Postgame Live), Patriots Wednesday Live, New England Tailgate, Patriots Football Weekly, 3 And Out, Patriots This Week, and Totally Patriots. Headlining these shows will be some of the best voices in football and televison including Troy Brown, Ty Law, Michael Felger, Koppen, Mike Flynn, Devin McCourty, Tom E. Curran, Giardi, Kay Adams & Jerry Thornton, among others.

Football Day in New England (Gamedays Pre/Post-Game)
Football Day in New England presented by your New England Acura Dealers will return for its third season after two successful initial seasons. The day will begin with Pregame Live which will take place two hours prior to every game, once again the only regional television program to do so. Pregame Live presented by Nissan will include a detailed preview of the day’s match-up and will be highly interactive with live Facebook, Twitter and CSNNE.com fan questions answered throughout the show. Postgame Live presented by Twin River Casino will also be an interactive platform in which fans can weigh in on that day’s match-up and will run approximately 90-minutes immediately following the game. The show will feature a post-game interview with a Patriots player live from the field after each game.
The talent team will be headlined by Michael Felger along with expert offensive and defensive perspective from analyst Troy Brown throughout the season. Ty Law, Dan Koppen and Mike Flynn will be rotating analysts throughout the season, while CSNNE.com Patriots Insider Tom E. Curran and Mike Giardi will report from inside the stadium. Jerry Thornton will be at the CSNNE.com Web Desk for each game. During Week #1 when the Patriots take on the Miami Dolphins, Donte Stallworth will be on-site in Miami contributing to Comcast SportsNet’s Pregame Live and Postgame Live coverage.
Monday Night Patriots (Mondays at 7PM)
Monday Night Patriots is all new to the network this season with its series debut on Monday, September 8th at 7PM. The 30-minute show will be hosted by Giardi and 10-year NFL veteran and 9-time Patriots member Koppen and will rotate a roster of Patriots players as guests/co-hosts. The show will be filmed in front of a live audience on location and will feature highlights and telestrator breakdowns of the prior day’s Pats game each week.
Quick Slants (Mondays at 7:30PM)
Quick Slants presented by Nissan will air at its new day and time on Mondays at 7:30PM and is hosted by Curran and NBC Sports Network’s Kay Adams. This original production is an interactive, high-energy and blunt discussion with fans and CSNNE talent. Quick Slants delves into all things football and will feature a one-on-one weekly interview with the Patriots’ Devin McCourty in addition to other guests throughout the season.
Patriots Wednesday Live (Wednesdays at Noon)
Patriots Wednesday Live presented by Lahey Health debuted on Wednesday, September 3 and will air weekly throughout the season from Noon – 1PM. The show provides exclusive coverage of the team’s mid-week press conference with Patriots Coach Bill Belichick and Quarterback Tom Brady and gives fans the first preview of the upcoming game. Patriots Hall of Famer Brown provides analysis along with host Gary Tanguay. Curran and Giardi also join weekly from Foxborough with a live interview with a Patriots player.
New England Football Night (Thursdays beginning at 7PM)
New England Football Night presented by AT&T will debut Thursday, September 4th and includes three exclusive 30-minute football programs. The following shows are part of the football line-up each Thursday:
- New England Tailgate presented by Town Fair Tire is in its 16th year with the well-established team of Glenn Ordway and NFL veterans Fred Smerlas and Steve DeOssie. The show will air at 7PM and provides viewers with highlights and a review of the Patriots’ prior game; preview of their upcoming opponent; play breakdowns on CSN’s touchscreen; predictions and bold commentary.
- Patriots Football Weekly follows at 7:30PM. Shot on-location at Gillette Stadium, this show delivers exclusive access from the writers who work on the inside for the Patriots’ weekly magazine “Patriots Football Weekly.”
- 3 And Out, airing at 8PM on Thursday nights, is a 30-minute football analysis and debate program that connects a panel of accomplished and spirited football analysts from across the nation, each located within a separate NFL market, to break down the three most impactful storylines affecting that week’s action. The show includes Felger, CSN Washington’s Brian Mitchell and CSN Bay Area’s Ray Ratto.
Patriots This Week (Fridays at 11PM)
Patriots This Week will make its season debut on Friday, September 5th at 11PM and will air weekly on Friday nights. The show is a no holds barred discussion with passionate debate and timely analysis from host Scott Zolak along with a rotating roster of former Patriots players including Matt Chatham and Sammy Morris.
Totally Patriots (Saturdays at 11:30AM)
Totally Patriots begins on Saturday,September 6th at 11:30AM and will air weekly throughout the season. The show gives the viewers exclusive access to their favorite players in a fun and casual setting, with sit-downs with various players, behind the scenes footage, and more.
