truTV to televise all four Championship Round Games
The National Association of Basketball Coaches and the American Cancer Society announced today the matchups for the Championship Round of the 2012 Coaches vs. Cancer Classic.
On Friday, November 16th at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY, Brigham Young will take on Florida State at 7:00pm ET, followed immediately by Notre Dame and Saint Joseph’s. On Saturday, November 17th, the Consolation Game will tip off at 7:00pm ET, followed by the 2012 Coaches vs. Cancer Classic Championship Game. All four games of the 2012 Coaches vs. Cancer Classic at Barclays Center will be televised live on truTV.

The Coaches vs. Cancer Classic (cvcclassic.com) is one of the most prestigious early-season college basketball tournaments. Twelve schools will compete in the event, with four of those teams serving as regional hosts. Regional round action takes place November 9-13, 2012 with the four hosts advancing to the championship rounds on November 16-17, 2012 at the new Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The remainder of the field will participate in a round-robin series at one of two sub host sites.

The program leverages the personal experiences, community leadership and professional excellence of basketball coaches nationwide to increase cancer awareness and promote healthy living, through year-round fundraising activities and advocacy.
