“THE NFL TODAY’S” SHANNON SHARPE PREVIEWS TENNESSEE-INDIANAPOLIS BY TALKING WITH
TITANS QUARTERBACK VINCE YOUNG FOR WEEK 13 ON SUNDAY, DEC. 6
THE NFL ON CBS, home of Super Bowl XLIV and broadcasting its Golden Anniversary 50th year of the NFL, continues its 2009 NFL season on Sunday, Dec. 6 (1:00-7:00 PM, ET) beginning with THE NFL TODAY (12:00 Noon-1:00 PM, ET).
This week THE NFL TODAY’s Shannon Sharpe sits down to talk with Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young in previewing the Titans-Indianapolis Colts game. After Young injured his knee in Week 1 of 2008, back-up Kerry Collins came in and started the rest of the way leading the Titans to a 13-3 record and the number one seed in the AFC. This season, after a disastrous 0-6 beginning with Collins as the starter, Tennessee decided to start Young in favor of Collins. Since then, Young has led the Titans to five straight wins and Tennessee is the first team in NFL history to win five straight games after losing their first six games. Young has a 23-11 starting record in the NFL and has won nine straight regular-season games.
James Brown hosts THE NFL TODAY along with analysts Dan Marino, Boomer Esiason, Sharpe and Bill Cowher, NFL TODAY “General Manager” Charley Casserly, as well as Lesley Visser and Sam Ryan reporting.
