TURNER SPORTS AND CBS SPORTS ANNOUNCE TIP-TIMES AND MATCH-UPS FOR
THIRD-ROUND GAMES ON SATURDAY, MARCH 19
Exclusive Coverage Continues with Second-Round on Friday, March 18
Turner Sports and CBS Sports announce tip-times and match-ups for third-round coverage of the 2011 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship on Saturday, March 19 (12:00 NOON-12:00 AM, ET) with all games available in their entirety across four national television networks: TBS, CBS, TNT and truTV. Exclusive live coverage continues with second-round action on Friday, March 18 (12:00 NOON-12:00 AM, ET).
Studio coverage continues with Greg Gumbel and Ernie Johnson sharing hosting duties during each day. Charles Barkley, Greg Anthony and Kenny Smith provide analysis throughout the tournament alongside Gumbel or Johnson from the CBS Broadcast Center in New York. Matt Winer hosts the studio coverage from Turner’s Atlanta studio with analysts Seth Davis, Steve Smith and Indiana head coach Tom Crean on Friday, and St. Josephshead coach Phil Martelli on Saturday and Sunday.
Tip times for the third-round games for Sunday will be announced on Friday after the conclusion of the day’s games.
Fans also will be able to access the games through NCAA March Madness on Demand. NCAA March Madness on Demand will provide live streaming video of every game of the new 68-team tournament as they are broadcast by CBS Sports and Turner Sports, which started with the First Four™ from Dayton, Ohio on March 15, and concludes with the Men’s Final Four® semifinals and national championship game from Houston, Texas on April 2 and April 4, respectively.
