Diving Coverage Continues NBC Olympics’ Record Coverage of U.S. Olympic Team Trials Ahead of Tokyo Olympics
Peacock to Live Stream Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA Coverage
STAMFORD, Conn. – June 7, 2021 – NBC Olympics presents live coverage of the U.S. Olympic Team Trials for diving this week, beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, June 8 at 7 p.m. ET on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA, and Peacock with the women’s springboard and men’s platform semifinals from the Indiana University Natatorium on the campus of IUPUI in Indianapolis, Ind.
This week, 14 hours of live diving coverage, including six nights in primetime, will be presented across NBC, Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA, and Peacock. Diving trials coverage culminates June 12-13 with the men’s and women’s springboard and platform finals, all live on NBC, including both nights in primetime.
Peacock will live stream Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA coverage of the U.S. Olympic Diving Team Trials.
NBCOlympics.com and the NBC Sports app will present 10 hours of exclusive semifinals and preliminaries diving coverage.
Paul Burmeister handles play-by-play Tuesday and Wednesday, and Ted Robinson will have the call Thursday-Sunday. 1976 Olympic bronze medalist Cynthia Potter serves as the analyst, and Kelli Stavast is the reporter.
The U.S. men are expected to be led by four-time Olympic medalist David Boudia, who is aiming for a fourth Olympic appearance in Tokyo, and 2016 Olympic silver medalist Michael Hixon. On the women’s side, 2019 world bronze medalist Delaney Schnell as well as 2021 World Cup silver medalist Sarah Bacon lead a deep pool of contenders.
