PETER KING WITH LARRY FITZGERALD
Peter King: “Of all of the hobbies you could have picked, you picked travel. Why?”
Larry Fitzgerald: “Because you’re out of your comfort zone. You really have to be a student of life.”
Fitzgerald on why he loves golf: “You see Tom Brady holding the Lombardi Trophy on the podium, and it doesn’t get any better than that. You never can beat the game of golf. You hold onto it for a little bit, but you never beat the game of golf…it gives me something to take my mind off of things. It’s fun to get out and play some of the best venues around the world.”
Fitzgerald on how many total countries he plans to visit: “I think 120 or 130 (countries) is realistic, because I just have that kind of appetite for knowledge and different cuisines and cultures.”
King on traveling to St. Andrews: “Five-thousand miles, eight time zones you came to do this. Was it worth it?”
Fitzgerald: “It’s been absolutely worth it. This has been one of the best experiences I’ve ever had.”
