Stamford, Conn. – December 11, 2013 – Andy Dalton and the AFC North-leading Cincinnati Bengals (9-4) travel to Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, Pa., to take on Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers (5-8) on NBC’s Sunday Night Football. Coverage begins with Football Night In America at 7 p.m. ET on NBC.
The Bengals beat the Colts last week, and are one win away from making the playoffs for the fourth time in the last five years. If the Bengals win in Pittsburgh on Sunday night, and the Ravens lose on Monday night to the Lions, the Bengals will clinch the AFC North title for the first time since 2009. The Steelers, coming off a loss to the Dolphins, aim to stay in the playoff chase.
Calling Bengals-Steelers is seven-time Emmy Award-winner Al Michaels (play-by-play), in his 28th season as the voice of the NFL’s premier primetime package; 14-time Emmy Award-winner Cris Collinsworth, who has won the Emmy for Outstanding Event Analyst in each of his four seasons in the Sunday Night Football booth; and Emmy Award-winning sideline reporter Michele Tafoya.
NBC’s coverage of Sunday Night Football is led by Emmy Award-winning coordinating producer Fred Gaudelli and Emmy Award-winning director Drew Esocoff. Sunday Night Football has won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Live Sports Series for five consecutive years.
Football Night In America, the most-watched pre-game show in sports, is hosted by 25-time Emmy Award-winner Bob Costas, who will report from Heinz Field in Pittsburgh Pa. Costas will be joined on-site by Michaels, Collinsworth, and two-time Super Bowl winner and Super Bowl XL MVP Hines Ward.
Dan Patrick co-hosts Football Night from NBC’s famed Studio 8H at 30 Rockefeller Plaza. Patrick will be joined by Super Bowl-winning head coach Tony Dungy, two-time Super Bowl winner Rodney Harrison, Peter King of Sports Illustrated, Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk on NBCSN and NBCSports.com, and longtime NFL front office veteran and former NFL Executive of the Year Scott Pioli. Alex Flanagan will report from AT&T Stadium inArlington,Texas, on the Packers-Cowboys game.
“The Cincinnati Bengals are looking good with Andy Dalton, A.J. Green, and rookie Giovani Bernard, who has added an element coming out of the backfield. They have to keep that two-game lead against Baltimore because the Ravens have the head-to-head win and the teams play in the last game of the season.” – Cris Collinsworth
“If the Bengals keep winning, they can catch New England and have the same record at the end of the season and tie the Patriots, and the Bengals would get the tiebreaker and get a bye.” – Al Michaels

NEW EPISODES OF FNIA COACH’S CLICKER AND NFL TURNING POINT AIR TONIGHT ON NBCSN
NBCSN’s in-depth coverage of the 2013 NFL season continues tonight with new episodes of FNIA Coach’s Clicker at 5 p.m. ET and NFL Turning Point at 11 p.m. ET.
FNIA Coach’s Clicker, NBCSN’s weekly half-hour NFL studio show hosted by Liam McHugh with Super Bowl-winning head coach Tony Dungy and two-time Super Bowl winner Rodney Harrison, will preview and examine the pivotal matchups in Week 15, including Packers-Cowboys, Ravens-Lions, and the Bengals-Steelers showdown on Sunday Night Football.
FNIA Coach’s Clicker will break down this weekend’s Sunday Night Football game between the Bengals and Steelers, as Cincinnati looks to solidify its lead atop the AFC North. Dungy and Harrison will take an in-depth look at the play of Bengals QB Andy Dalton, and the key roles Bengals RB Giovani Bernard and Steelers WR Antonio Brown will play in the outcome of the game. The program will analyze how the Cowboys’ and Packers’ rushing attacks will attempt to take pressure off their quarterbacks. FNIA Coach’s Clicker also previews Ravens-Lions, and will examine how Ravens QB Joe Flacco can carry Baltimore into the playoffs, and what makes Lions WR Calvin Johnson so difficult to defend.
NFL Turning Point, hosted by Football Night In America’s Dan Patrick, will look back at Week 14 in the NFL and focus on the crucial “turning point” moments that ultimately defined the outcome of some of the week’s most-watched contests.
This week’s episode of NFL Turning Point reviews last week’s game between the Lions and Eagles that was played in blizzard conditions. The program analyzes how the poor weather affected slowed the Eagles’ hurry-up offense, and led to the Lions’ seven fumbles. Turning Point highlights Eagles RB LeSean McCoy’s team-record performance, and dissects howPhiladelphia’s halftime adjustments led to 34 second-half points.
The program also breaks down Sunday’s Seahawks-49ers game. Turning Point will study how the 49ers defense contained Seattle QB Russell Wilson, and how the return of 49ers WR Michael Crabtree has boosted their offense. The episode also examines San Francisco’s game-winning drive, highlighted by RB Frank Gore’s 51-yard run, which led to K Phil Dawson’s game-winning field goal.
This week’s program will also feature audio from Baltimorehead coach John Harbaugh during the fourth quarter of the Ravens’ wild 29-26 win over the Vikings, as well as audio from Tampa Bay head coach Greg Schiano during the Bucs’ 27-6 win against Buffalo.
