STAMFORD, Conn. – Oct. 8, 2020 – U.S. Women’s National Team stars Alex Morgan, Tobin Heath, Rose Lavelle, Christen Press, and Sam Mewis will be in action this weekend as NBC Sports’ coverage of the FA Women’s Super League continues with three live matches on NBCSN.
This weekend’s coverage kicks off on Sat., Oct. 10 at 7:30 a.m. ET when Morgan and Tottenham host Heath, Press and Manchester United from The Hive Stadium in London. Heath and Press made their Manchester United debuts last weekend in a 3-0 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion. Heath assisted on the Red Devils’ final goal. Morgan aims to make her Tottenham and WSL debut after giving birth to her daughter in May.
On Sunday, the FA Women’s Super League Pre Show begins at 7 a.m. ET on NBCSN ahead of Brighton v. Arsenal at 7:30 a.m. ET. Arsenal sit in first place with a 3-0-0 record, and have scored 18 goals in the three victories.
Following Brighton-Arsenal, Mewis, Lavelle and fifth-place Manchester City visit third-place Chelsea at 9:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN. Mewis, who scored the game-winning goal in Manchester City’s FA Cup win over Arsenal last week, and Lavelle both made their WSL debuts last weekend. Mewis scored in the 53rd minute of the Cityzens’ 4-1 victory over Tottenham.

The FA Women’s Super League is the top level of women’s professional football in England, featuring 12 clubs throughout the country plus a relegation system with the 11-team FA Women’s Championship. Chelsea won last season’s title for the third time, while Aston Villa won the FA Women’s Championship to earn promotion for this season.
