On Saturday, Jan. 23, the Alabama football team will be honored with a parade for winning the College Football Playoff National Championship. Featuring head coach Nick Saban, players and staff, along with director of athletics Bill Battle and other dignitaries and special guests. The event starts at noon ET, airing live on SEC Network Alternate, and streaming live on SEC Network + through WatchESPN and the ESPN apps.
The parade route begins at University Boulevard, at Denny Chimes, and concludes with a ceremony on the steps of Byrant Denny Stadium. SEC Network commentators Joe Tessitore and Greg McElroy – former national championship winning quarterback at Alabama – will cover the event from an SEC Now set at the Walk of Champions.
The event is scheduled to re-air Saturday evening at 11 p.m., and again on Sunday at 1 p.m. on the SEC Network television channel.

In addition, to SEC Network’s airing of the Crimson Tide celebration, ESPN devotes today’s CFB Live to a “rewatch” of the College Football Playoff National Championship. The show features Chris Cotter, Trevor Matich, Brock Huard and guest Brian Dawkins (former Clemson player). The group will watch extended clips from the game and break it down in hindsight. The show will also feature some unseen high-end “CFB Flims” footage from the game.
