Ravech, Garciaparra, Brown Form New Championship Game Trio; Sunday Night Baseball’s Francona & Hershiser to Call Three Games Together; SportsCenter Onsite
ABC, ESPN and ESPN2 will combine to present all 32 games of the 2012 Little League World Series presented by Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes Aug. 16-26 from Lamade Stadium and Volunteer Stadium in Williamsport, Pa. ABC will broadcast five games from Williamsport, including the International Championship and the United States Championship on Saturday, Aug. 25, at 12:30 p.m. ET and 3:30 p.m., respectively. ABC will then broadcast the Little League World Series Championship on Sunday, Aug. 26, at 3 p.m.
ESPN and ESPN2 will combine to present 27 Little League World Series games in Williamsport, beginning with four games Thursday, Aug. 16. ESPN and ESPN2 games will also be available on ESPN3 and WatchESPN and most are available on ESPN Mobile TV.
Commentators
Ø Baseball Tonight’s Karl Ravech and Nomar Garciaparra and college football reporter Jenn Brown will form the new Little League World Series Championship team and call all five ABC games, including the World Series Championship, United States Championship and International Championship;
Ø Sunday Night Baseball analysts Terry Francona and Orel Hershiser will call three games together – Aug. 16, Aug. 22 and Aug. 23. Hershiser will call seven games total, including two Aug. 16 – the first day from Williamsport. Francona – in his first year of Little League World Series coverage – will call five games;
Ø Gary Thorne will call 13 games from Williamsport and Chris McKendry will call the Third Place Consolation Game Sunday, Aug. 26 at 11 a.m., in addition to leading on-site SportsCenter coverage.

Ø SportsCenter will provide daily, on-site updates with coverage led by McKendry and Ravech, including a special ABC SportsCenter broadcast on Saturday, Aug. 25, at 3 p.m. following the International Championship;
Ø Little League Web Gems/World Series Preview presented by Subway will highlight the tournament’s best defensive plays and preview the Little League World Series Championship, on Sunday, Aug. 26, at 1 p.m. McKendry will host the show with analysts Garciaparra and Kyle Peterson;
Ø ESPN.com’s Little League World Series page will be updated with scores, results and game stories.
Little League World Series Telecast Open
ESPN will debut the full version of the new Little League World Series telecast open on Thursday, Aug. 16. The element shows Little Leaguers enjoying a summer day at a baseball-themed carnival. The element combines two popular activities for children in the summer – baseball and theme parks. A preview of the open is available on ESPN’s Little League World Series Facebook page.
“Summer Forever”
ESPN and Disney have collaborated with band 1985 to produce the 2012 Little League World Series theme song “Summer Forever.” The track captures the fun and excitement of baseball and summer and will be used throughout Little League World Series coverage from Williamsport.
Little League World Series in 3D
ESPN will present 22 Little League World Series from Williamsport in 3D, including the International Championship and US Championship on Saturday, Aug, 25, and the Third Place Consolation Game and World Series Championship on Sunday, Aug. 26. The full schedule: 3D.
ESPN International
ESPN International will broadcast up to 32 Little League World Series games from Williamsport via ESPN2 in Venezuela and Mexico, ESPN2 Caribbean, ESPN Brazil, ESPN Australia, ESPN Israel, ESPN Africa, ESPN China, ESPN India, ESPN Taiwan, ESPN Philippines, ESPN Southeast Asia, ESPN Hong Kong and J-Sports (ESPN Japan). In addition, all 32 games will air on the ESPN America networks, which serve Europe, Middle East and North Africa.
