ESPN will exclusively televise the 2015 Gillette Home Run Derby presented by Head & Shoulders on Monday, July 13, at 8 p.m. ET. The event will emanate from Great American Ball Park, the home of the Cincinnati Reds and the 2015 MLB All-Star Game. The 30th edition of the Home Run Derby will also be available on ESPN Radio, ESPN Deportes and WatchESPN.
New Derby team
ESPN will showcase a new Home Run Derby commentator team during this year’s telecast. Chris Berman, the voice of the Home Run Derby, will return to provide the majority of the play-by-play. He’ll be joined by John Kruk (Sunday Night Baseball) and new addition to the team, former Red, Aaron Boone (Baseball Tonight). The trio, who will be located on the third base line, will be joined by reporters Pedro Gomez and Nicole Briscoe.
Baseball Tonight – ESPN’s Major League Baseball studio show – will travel to Great American Ball Park for three hours of coverage leading in to the Home Run Derby and will also be integrated into the Derby telecast itself. Host Karl Ravech will be joined by Curt Schilling (Sunday Night Baseball) and reporters Buster Olney and Tim Kurkjian on the first base line, opposite Berman, Kruk and Boone. Ravech’s team will provide updates and insights during the Derby, as well as pre-game.
Baseball Tonight will air live on Monday, July 13, beginning at 5 p.m. to kick off Derby festivities. The show will be followed by SportsCenter, hosted by Lindsay Czarniak, at 6 p.m., before resuming at 7 p.m. for an additional hour of pre-game coverage. Here’s the Derby night schedule:

Derby on Radio
The 2015 Gillette Home Run Derby presented by Head & Shoulders will also be available on ESPN Radio with Jon Sciambi and Chris Singleton calling the action. The duo will also call the MLB All-Star Game for ESPN Radio on Tuesday, July 14 at 8 p.m. In addition, Ernesto Jerez, analysts Ozzie Guillen and Luis Alfredo Alvarez and reporter Guillermo Celis will provide commentary on ESPN Deportes. Renato Bermudez and Eduardo Orteza will describe the Derby on ESPN Deportes Radio. Both teams will also cover the 2015 MLB All-Star Game.
ESPN Radio’s Mike & Mike, hosted by Mike Greenberg and Mike Golic, will broadcast their national radio show live from the Moerlein Lager House, located across the street from Great American Ball Park, during MLB All-Star festivities on Monday, July 13, and Tuesday, July 14. Fans are welcome to watch both live shows. Guests scheduled to appear include John Smoltz, Ned Yost and Frank Thomas (Monday), Bruce Bochy and Commissioner Rob Manfred (Tuesday).
Mike & Mike, which recently celebrated its 15th anniversary as the morning anchor of the ESPN Radio lineup, will broadcast from 6 a.m. until 10 a.m. The show, simulcast on ESPN2, is available on ESPN Radio and ESPN affiliates across the country. It is also available on espnradio.com, ESPN Radio app, SiriusXM Channel 83, Apple iTunes, Slacker Radio, TuneIn.
Immediately following the Gillette Home Run Derby presented by Head & Shoulders, ESPN will televise 2015 MLB Legends & Celebrity Softball All-Star Game. The game, which will include ESPN’s own Aaron Boone, will also be available on WatchESPN.
