NBC Sports Network Presents Three College Basketball Games This Week
Stan Van Gundy to Serve as Analyst for No. 15 New Mexico – UNLV Saturday Night at 9 P.M. ET
NEW YORK – February 4, 2013 – NBC Sports Network’s coverage of the 2012-13 college basketball season continues this week with three games, highlighted by a Mountain West showdown on Saturday night between No. 15 New Mexico and UNLV.
Coverage begins tonight with Old Dominion hosting George Mason at 7 p.m. ET from the Ted Constant Convocation Center in Norfolk, Va. Mike Corey will manage play-by-play duties for the game and will be joined by analyst Ron Thompson.
On Thursday night at 7 p.m. ET Old Dominion travels to the Daskalakis Athletic Center in Philadelphia, PA. to take on Drexel. Corey and Thompson will call the matchup.
Saturday night at 9 p.m. ET, former NBA head coach and NBC Sports Network analyst Stan Van Gundy will pair with play-by-play announcer Paul Burmeister to call No. 15 New Mexico and UNLV at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nev.
The NBC Sports Network will televise more than 65 college basketball games this season — the most in its history — featuring more than 40 different schools. The majority of the games and teams will come from the Atlantic 10, Mountain West, Colonial Athletic Association and Ivy League conferences.
