appearances by Stanley Cup champion Kings Highlight Live-Game Schedule
NEW YORK (February 27, 2013) – NHL Network-U.S., the go-to destination for hockey fanatics, will air eight live NHL games over the next five days, including the red-hot Chicago Blackhawks and a rare quadruple-header Saturday, starting at Noon, ET.
Live coverage begins tomorrow night with NHL Network’s “Game of the Week” at 7:00 p.m. ET featuring the Pittsburgh Penguins meeting Carolina for the first time since the off-season trade that sent Jordan Staal from Pittsburgh to Carolina to join his brother, Hurricanes captain Eric Staal. Jordan Staal, will face his former teammates from Pittsburgh, including
Sidney Crosby, with whom he won the Stanley Cup in 2009.
The Network’s team of insiders and analysts will cover intermission reports during the broadcast and bring viewers up to speed on news and scores from around the League. NHL Tonight, hosted by Kathryn Tappen, will be on the air following the conclusion of the Penguins-Hurricanes at 10:00 p.m. ET.
