Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice Sits Down with FOX Sports’ Pam Oliver To Talk About the College Football Playoff Selection Committee
Legendary Broadcaster Keith Jackson Joins The Show In Studio
New York, NY – FOX Sports welcomes two huge names to the FOX COLLEGE SATURDAY pregame show, as former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and legendary broadcaster Keith Jackson join the program this weekend.
Rice was named on Wednesday to the College Football Playoff selection committee and sits down with FOX Sports’ Pam Oliver to discuss her new position and addresses the criticism that has come with it.
“I come at this as somebody who’s had lots of decision-making experience, under pressure, trying to evaluate all of the evidence and come to a decision, and doing it with a team, I think that’s very important,” Rice says. “And I was of course provost at Stanford, and Stanford athletics reported to me, so I have the professional experience with the sport as well. Mostly, it’s because I’d love to see us get this right.”
The most recognizable voice in college football history, Jackson joins FOX COLLEGE SATURDAY live from the FOX Network Center studios in Los Angeles to talk about the state of college football today.
Jackson joins Joel Klatt, Eddie George, Petros Papadakis, Mike Pereira, Clay Travis and Rob Stone, who hosts this week while Erin Andrews reports from the American League Championship Series.
FOX COLLEGE SATURDAY airs from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM ET on FOX Sports 1, America’s new sports network. The show goes in-depth with college football’s top teams, previewing the day’s games and dissecting the biggest stories from around the country. Also featured on this week’s episode are UCLA linebacker Anthony Barr and Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd, two of the game’s top players.
Following FOX COLLEGE SATURDAY, FOX Sports 1 has two games featuring ranked opponents as West Virginia welcomes No. 16 Texas Tech at 12:00 PM ET, and No. 2 Oregon hosts Washington State at 10:00 PM ET. On FOX, TCU visits No. 21 Oklahoma State for a 12:00 PM kickoff.
