Bengal’s Chad Ochocinco Discusses New NFL Twitter Policy
NEW YORK (Sept. 9, 2009) – The second season of INSIDE THE NFL premieres Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on SHOWTIME. Guest analyst Bill Cowher of CBS Sports joins host James Brown and All Pro NFL greats Cris Collinsworth, Phil Simms and Warren Sapp.
NFL Films President Steve Sabol joins the show to debut the new “voice” of INSIDE THE NFL, Scott Graham. Graham replaces Harry Kalas, who passed away in April after serving as the only voice during the first 32 seasons of the show. The show pays tribute to Kalas’ career.
Jenn Brown takes a look at the social networking phenomenon Twitter. Its popularity among NFL players has grown so much, that the League has recently issued a Twitter Policy. Twitter Chad Ochocinco sounds off on the new policy.
Ochocinco on NFL Twitter ban during game and 90-minutes before and after games: “I’m not even worried about the middle ground. What I’m going to do is focus on the Loopholes. There’s Loopholes in everything. Everything that is done. I’ll do my research and see what those are and I am going to make it happen.”
Ochocinco on Twittering during Super Bowl: ” After we’re doing well, we will do well, we get in the playoffs, and we (we) visit Miami…I’ll be tweeting from the Super Bowl…actually while I’m on the field.”
Coach Cowher weighs in on the off season coaching changes and on-field moves. And Phil Simms Pet Peeves return for a second season.
INSIDE THE NFL, now entering its 33rd season, will air every Wednesday night on SHOWTIME throughout the NFL season, with multiple replays each week on SHOWTIME and SHOWTIME 2™.
