Green Bay wide receiver James Jones had a career-high three touchdown receptions leading the Packers to a 21-13 win over the Chicago Bears. Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb had his second consecutive 100–plus yards receiving effort, finishing with six receptions for 115 yards. Bears running back Matt Forte led their offense in both rushing and receiving with 69 and 64 yards respectively:
- 9:30 PM ET NFL Replay: San Francisco 49ers vs. New England Patriots
San Francisco let a second half, 28-point lead disappear to the New England Patriots before a touchdown pass from quarterback Colin Kaepernick to wide receiver Michael Crabtree with under seven minutes remaining in the fourth quarter gave the 49ers lead once again. The 49ers held on for a 41-34 victory. Kaepernick threw a career high four touchdown passes. Patriots quarterback Tom Brady finished with 443 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions:

- 9:00 PM ET NFL Replay: Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Dallas Cowboys
Dallas cornerback Brandon Carr intercepted a pass from Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger on the second play in overtime to set up a game winning, 21-yard field goal from kicker Dan Bailey to give the Cowboys a 27-24 victory.. Roethlisberger had 339 yards passing and two touchdowns before throwing the interception. Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo finished with 341 passing yards and two touchdowns:

Premiering Wednesday, December 19 at 8:00 PM ET, The Immaculate Reception: A Football Life features new interviews with a total of 11 players from both the Oakland Raiders and Pittsburgh Steelers including the two Steelers at the heart of the controversy, John “Frenchy” Fuqua and Franco Harris. Each of the Steeler and Raider players provide their perspective of what happened that day in Three Rivers Stadium. Their version of events has spawned four different conspiracy theories which are discussed in detail.
