STAMFORD, Conn. – January 3, 2019 – NBCSN’s college basketball coverage continues this weekend with five Atlantic 10 Conference matchups, highlighted by an A-10 doubleheader on Saturday, January 5, and a tripleheader on Sunday, January 6.
Coverage begins Saturday at 1 p.m. ET, when UMass hosts La Salle at the Mullins Center in Amherst, Mass. Kyle Draper will manage play-by-play duties for the game and will be joined by analyst Tim McCormick.
In the second game of NBCSN’s Saturday doubleheader, conference leaders Davidson and Duquesne take the court in a key Atlantic 10 contest, as the two schools attempt to battle their way to the top of the A-10 men’s basketball standings. The Wildcats and the Dukes are both 9-4, and are locked in a five-team tie for first place in the conference, with Fordham, Saint Louis, and VCU. Rick Allen will call the action alongside analyst Dave Kaplan, from John M. Belk Arena, in Davidson, NC. Coverage of Duquesne – Davidson will begin at 6:05 p.m. ET.
NBCSN’s college basketball tripleheader on Sunday tips off at Noon ET, when Richmond visits UD Arena in Dayton, Ohio, to take on Dayton. Todd Harris and Blaine Fowler will have the call from the Buckeye state.
At 2 p.m. ET, Saint Joseph’s hosts George Washington at Hagan Arena in Philadelphia, Pa. Play-by-play commentator Mike Corey will call the game with analyst and former head coach Ben Braun.
Sunday’s tripleheader of A-10 games concludes at 4 p.m. ET, when St. Bonaventure travels south to take on George Mason. Kevin Lee will handle play-by-play duties alongside analyst Ron Thompson, from EagleBank Arena in Fairfax, Va.
NBCSN will present more than 30 Atlantic 10 Conference basketball games this season, including 25 regular-season men’s matchups, as well as coverage of the 2019 Atlantic 10 Men’s Championship tournament. NBCSN’s 2018-19 college basketball schedule will feature all 14 Atlantic 10 member schools, including Davidson, Dayton, Duquesne, Fordham, George Mason, George Washington, La Salle, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Richmond, St. Bonaventure, Saint Joseph’s, Saint Louis, and VCU.
