NATIONAL GAME BROADCASTS ON TBS AND MLB NETWORK
TBS to Air Red Sox-Yankees Game on Friday, September 25
MLB Network Adds Series of Games in September Featuring Postseason Contenders
Major League Baseball today announced additions to its national broadcast schedule for the month of September, adding a series of “Pennant Race” games featuring playoff contenders on TBS and MLB Network. TBS will present a special Friday night broadcast of the September 25 Red Sox @ Yankees game, while MLB Network will add a series of games in September featuring teams in contention for the MLB Postseason, which begins October 7 with the Division Series on TBS. The MLB Network games late in September will be determined each week based on the standings and playoff implications at the time.
The new games added to the national broadcast schedule in September include:
Monday, September 7 (Labor Day) – 2:00 p.m. Red Sox @ White Sox (MLB Network)
Monday, September 7 (Labor Day) – 7:00 p.m. Rays @ Yankees (MLB Network)
Tuesday, September 15 – TBD (MLB Network)*
Tuesday, September 22 – TBD (MLB Network)*
Friday, September 25 – 7:00 p.m. Red Sox @ Yankees (TBS)
Tuesday, September 29 – TBD (MLB Network)*
*Will be determined based on standings and playoff implications at the time.
