The first of up to seven new TV spots for ESPN.com’s year-long brand campaign featuring TV, print and online elements, will rollout today, Feb. 26, on the ESPN networks. Titled “Page 2”, the 30-second spot features ESPN.com Page 2 columnist Bill “The Sports Guy” Simmons, a shrine to the Boston Celtics, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish mascot, ESPN Radio Mike and Mike in the Morning co-host Mike Golic, and Serbian tennis table star, Biba Golic.
Created by ESPN and Weiden + Kennedy New York, the campaign seeks to illustrate ESPN.com’s breadth and depth at serving sports fans by giving them instant access to the sports they love and the control to consume it as they desire. The spots will highlight the many kinds of sports journeys a user can create with the limitless flow of information the site provides. Each TV spot will close with an invitation to fans to “Follow Your Sports.”
