CBSSports.com College Network partner sites and affiliates now boast 52 of the 65 BCS conference schools (80%)
Announces renewals of 26 schools, pacing towards 100% retention of 2009 properties
NEW YORK, June 21, 2010 – CBSSports.com College Network, a division of CBS Interactive that produces over 175 official collegiate athletic sites, today announced they have signed interactive agreements to produce the official athletic sites for the University of Georgia (georgiadogs.com), University of Mississippi (olemisssports.com), NC State University (gopack.com), DePaul University (depaulbluedemons.com), and Pepperdine University (pepperdinesports.com).
Additionally, CBSSports.com College Network announced a number of contract extensions to current partner sites, including ISP Sports properties: Auburn (auburntigers.com), California (calbears.com), Georgia Tech (ramblinwreck.com), Houston (uhcougars.com), Marshall (herdzone.com), Northern Illinois (niuhuskies.com), Ohio (ohiobobcats.com), Southern Miss (southernmiss.com), St. John’s (redstormsports.com), UAB (uabsports.com), UCF (ucfathletics.com), UCLA (uclabruins.com), Vanderbilt (vucommodores.com), Wake Forest (wakeforestsports.com), and Washington State (wsucougars.com).
Additional renewals include: Baylor (baylorbears.com), Georgetown (guhoyas.com), Johns Hopkins (hopkinssports.com), Marquette (gomarquette.com), Navy (www.navysports.com), and Purdue (purduesports.com), and South Carolina (gamecocksonline.com).
Accounting for the recent additions and four affiliate sites, the CBSSports.com College Network now includes 52 of the 65 (80%) BCS eligible schools from the big six conferences, a dominant position entering the 2010 college football season.
