NFL STAR AND FANTASY FOOTBALL EXPERT MAURICE JONES-DREW TO DEBUT HIS EXCLUSIVE SIRIUS XM FANTASY SPORTS RADIO SHOW AUGUST 7

‘Runnin’ with MJD,’ the show title determined by fan vote, will air weekly throughout the season

SIRIUS XM Fantasy Sports Radio is available nationwide on XM channel 147 and SIRIUS channel 211 (“Best of XM”)

NEW YORK – August 4, 2010 SIRIUS XM Radio (NASDAQ: SIRI) announced today that NFL star and fantasy football expert Maurice Jones-Drew, the Pro Bowl running back for the Jacksonville Jaguars, will debut his much anticipated new weekly fantasy football talk show this Saturday, August 7 (7:00 – 9:00 pm ET).

Runnin’ with MJD, which is the show title determined by fans who voted online, will be available to listeners nationwide on SIRIUS XM Fantasy Sports Radio, the new 24/7 channel dedicated to fantasy sports airing on XM channel 147 and SIRIUS channel 211 for subscribers with the “Best of XM” programming package.

Jones-Drew and Jacksonville radio personality Mike Dempsey will host the two-hour call-in show live at 7:00 pm Fridays throughout the NFL season. Due to Jaguars team activities on Friday, August 6, and the team’s first preseason game on Friday, August 13, the show will shift to Saturday, August 7, and Saturday, August 14, for those weeks.

An outstanding performer on the field (He finished the 2009 NFL season in the top 5 in rushing yards, TDs and all-purpose yards) and avid fantasy football player off it, Jones-Drew will take calls from listeners and offer his advice for drafts, trades, waiver wire moves and other fantasy football matters throughout the season.  Fans who are wondering what defense to draft or mulling over a trade proposal can call in and get Maurice’s thoughts on the subject.

“I’ll use my experience and my sources to give SIRIUS XM listeners the best fantasy football info I can give them,” says Jones-Drew.  “We all get into fantasy football for the competition and the cameraderie but the goal is to dominate your league and I’m confident I can help people do that.”

Jones-Drew will also manage his own fantasy football team on the show and share his first-hand knowledge on the best fantasy football performers from around the NFL.

“I’m friends with a lot of guys around this league but if they’re on my fantasy roster it’s all business,” says Jones-Drew.  “If they’re not performing for me, I may just call them up live on air and cut them.”

“Maurice’s talents on the field and his devotion to fantasy football have made him one of the most compelling figures in the world of fantasy sports,” said Scott Greenstein, SIRIUS XM’s President and Chief Content Officer.  “He’s got the insider’s knowledge and engaging personality to make this a one-of-a-kind show and we’re thrilled to have him on our air taking calls from SIRIUS XM listeners each week.”

Jones-Drew recently participated in the first ever SIRIUS XM Celebrity Fantasy Football Draft, held in New York’s City’s Times Square.  He’ll compete this season in a league that also includes teams managed by fellow SIRIUS XM hosts Chris ‘Mad Dog’ Russo, former MLB general manager Steve Phillips, nine-time NHL All-Star Jeremy Roenick, Emmy Award-winning actor Jay Thomas, Howard Stern Show executive producer Gary Dell’Abate, Howard 101’s Scott Ferrall and others.

NFL.com Launches New Official NFL Fantasy Platform

NFL.COM LAUNCHES NEW OFFICIAL

NFL FANTASY PLATFORM

World’s Only NFL Fantasy Game with Video Including Extensive In-Game Highlights

Free and Fast Live Scoring

Player Projections Tied to Madden NFL 11

NFL FANTASY FOOTBALL Presented by Verizon, the official game of the NFL, launches today with exclusive NFL video for the first time with in-game highlights.

The NFL brought fantasy football operations in-house making NFL FANTASY FOOTBALL the only game that contains video highlights, with thousands of game highlights that make fantasy football come to life. Fans will enjoy game highlights and video analysis throughout the season, customized to each fan’s team and each fantasy matchup.  Highlights of all significant fantasy scoring plays will be integrated into the platform, making Game Day on NFL.com the ultimate fantasy experience.  In addition, hours of pregame video, including analysis and fantasy advice, help fans manage their rosters and set their lineups each week.

“The addition of in-game video and highlights will set apart our new official game on NFL.com,” said BRIAN ROLAPP, Senior Vice President of Media Strategy and Digital Media for the NFL. “As video has changed the web, we look forward to it changing fantasy football.  Our game will deliver a more dynamic experience and be customized for both veteran and new fantasy players.  Fans will not want to miss the chance to join the new leagues now as we continue to produce new features to enhance NFL Fantasy Football in the future.”

NFL FANTASY FOOTBALL makes available two free platforms. NFL Custom League provides fans the opportunity to customize a league for their friends. Fans who sign up for NFL-Managed League will be in a league run by NFL.com and be eligible to win official NFL prizes.

For the first time, player projections are tied to Madden NFL from EA Sports. As player ratings change on Madden every week, player projections are adjusted on NFL.com to give fans the most up-to-date information. NFL.com’s fantasy game also syncs to GSIS, the NFL’s official Game Statistics and Information System, for free and fast live scoring and postgame corrections as soon as they are official.

NFL.com is the first place to get the game-day inactives & regular injury reports.  In addition, NFL FANTASY FOOTBALL provides users with a drag-and-drop function to simplify roster adjustments.

NFL FANTASY FOOTBALL will provide a comprehensive ‘Activity Feed’ for each player and league. The unique feed contains breaking news, transactions, injury reports, discussions, and league-manager changes all in one place.  Fans can see all league activity in one area and make comments on activity as it happens.

As the presenting sponsor of NFL FANTASY FOOTBALL, Verizon will be deeply integrated into the game, including branding on every league’s home page.  Verizon became the NFL’s official wireless service sponsor in April introducing NFL Mobile, which provides fans with NFL Network, live games, the latest news and information, including in-depth profiles of current players and draft prospects, team updates, mock drafts, expert analysis and more.

The 2010 season will be the first time operations of NFL FANTASY FOOTBALL are in-house. In August 2007, NFL brought the operations of NFL.com in-house and re-launched the site. NFL.com is the home for the most NFL highlights and video on the web.
